- Candidates cannot be older than 38 years of age by the date of May 12th of 2009.
We invite young talented tenors
to participate in a prestigious project called

1st European Tenor Contest named after Jan Kiepura

which is to be held from May 13th to 15th of 2009 in Sosnowiec.
Amongst the best singers the Jury
(including the most eminent personalities from the world of music)
will dispense the following money prizes

1st place 10 000 €
2nd place 5.000 €
3rd place 2.500 €

Laureates will be invited to participate in the gala concert on May 16th 2009.

There are plans for special awards, for instance participation in prestigious concerts.
